Mercedes 190E DTM 1992 | Brief history
Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evo II made a good start, finishing in the top three positions in 1992 in the German DTM touring championship.
AMG developed the car from a road car database and produced about 500 units, as required by regulation.
Compared to the EVO version, the power increased by 40 Hp. The engine hood, boot cover and spoiler are made of special plastic material.
The Nürburgring kicked off the Evo II race in the DTM race on June 16, 1990.
In the final race of the championship, at the Hockenheim track, a new car was provided for all teams.

The Italian slot manufacturer presented the the first model in 2020 and this month the car is reproducing the champion oh Hockenheim in 1992, which the pilot won with Ellen lohr. This is already the third decoration of this car.
